BODY CONTOURING
FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Consultation

When you arrive at the clinic I will apply numbing cream to your chosen treatment area as this can take between 15-30 minutes to set in. Next I will take a series of "before" photos. Then after you have completed the relevant consent and medical history forms I will take some time to listen carefully to your requirements and discuss the procedure and what to expect, with a detailed aftercare programme to prolong your new look.

Pre Treatment Advice

Whether or not you are just starting to think about aesthetic injectables, or you have already made the decision to get treatments, you should prepare yourself before you go in for a consultation or procedure. You should discontinue use of any over-the-counter pain relievers at least a week before you get dermal fillers. Blood-thinning drugs like ibuprofen (Advil & Motrin), aspirin, and Aleve can increase the chances of bleeding, bruising, and complications during and after the injections.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECT?

Although extremely rare, in some cases you could experience anything from a mild to severe allergic reaction. You may experience swelling, bruising, itching, pain, sensitivity to pressure and excessive warmth at the injection site however, this is usually resolved within three to five days.

AFTERCARE

You should drink plenty of fluids and gently massage the treated areas after your treatment. Simple analgesia (panadol/ibuprofen), ice application for 10 min every hour will make it more comfortable, but most patients don't need it. Don't use cosmetic creams/procedures on the area.

DOES IT HURT?
FINANCE OPTIONS

The injection itself feels kind of like a splinter, but if it’s done properly, the pain should go away right away. The area may swell a little for a few hours after the procedure. It can feel a bit unsettling, but it should never be painful. You’ll feel back to normal by the next day, and the swelling should dissipate entirely after about a week.

We are proud to offer our clients many avenues into securing treatments using finance options. Our most popular is through Klarna that can be applied at checkout. We also offer clients the opportunity to become a subscription member of the clinic and save towards your next treatment.
